British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
