An element the teaser doesn't touch on is what the sheriff is back with his friends in the child's bedroom. The finale of Toy Story 4 depicted him set off on a new adventure with Bo Peep (the actress), journeying with a carnival and helping prize toys find good homes.

Certainly, the filmmakers will address the aftermath of Toy Story 4 in the movie. Seeing him appear in the familiar setting without warning is a little strange, though. It also makes us wonder whether his partner will have returned with Woody. And where is Duke Caboom (the star)?
